Registration & presenter instructions

Presenters must register by April 20, 2018, but online registration is available until May 10th, 2018 for community members. Community members may also register on the day of the conference.

Full registration: $50 CDN*. The registration fee includes access to all presentations, coffee breaks, lunch, and social events. 

*Hard copies of the program are available for an additional cost of $5. This request must be indicated at the time of online registration. 

Note. uOttawa students, professors, and staff can attend presentations and discussions for free. Social events, lunch, and snacks are not included.

REGISTRATION PROCEDURE

To register for the conference, you must complete two steps

Please have your method of payment ready at the time of registration (e.g., PayPal, Visa, Mastercard, Interac Debit).

Step 1: Complete the online registration form.

Step 2: Pay the $50 registration fee.

After you submit your registration form, you will be directed to PayPal to pay for registration**. Both steps must be completed before your registration is deemed complete.

**Payment must be made under the same name as registration. Without this information, we will not be able to link the payment to the registration information. If the name of the registrant does not match the name on the credit card, you must email admin@icp-cip.com to inform us and to confirm your registration. Please also use the "note/comment" section of PayPal should there be any differences in names.

PRESENTER INSTRUCTIONS

Poster Presentations

There will be two poster presentation sessions. Presenters allotted for Poster Session A (May 17, 2018 from 3:00pm to 4:00pm) will be asked to set up their poster in FSS4007 between 2:45pm to 3:00pm on May 17, 2018. Presenters allotted for Poster Session B (May 18, 2018 from 9:00am to 10:00am) will be asked to set up their posters between 8:30am to 9:00am on May 18, 2018.

Poster presentations will be hung on 4 x 4 poster boards, push pins will be provided. Presenters should be available at their poster for questions during their allotted session time. Presenters will be asked to remove their posters 5-10 minutes prior to the end of their poster session.

Oral Presentations and Symposia Presentations

Oral presentations are typically 15-minutes max (10-12 minutes of content, 3-5 minutes for questions). Please bring your presentation on a flash drive/USB stick. Presenters are expected to upload their presentation onto the conference computer between 1:40pm and 1:50pm on May 18, 2018. Presenters will be assigned to either FSS4004 or FSS4006 (concurrent) for their presentation at 1:50pm to 2:50pm, please consult conference schedule for location (will be available/to be announced in May 2018). Both rooms are equipped with a computer, projector, and screen.

There will be two symposium sessions, one on each day of the conference. Symposia presentations are 60-minutes in length (inclusive of 10-15 minutes of question period). Please bring your presentation on a flash drive/USB stick. Please consult conference schedule for location and time (to be announced in May 2018). The room will be equipped with a computer, projector, and screen.
