What is it?

The Interdisciplinary Conference in Psychology involves our community by reaching out to high school students to promote the University of Ottawa and its research opportunities.

Since the pandemic, students have been able to attend our one-day conference online. Students can attend presentations on various topics relevant to them such as university student life and research opportunities at the undergraduate level. Undergraduate students also share their experience and what they wish they knew when they first started university.

As with the larger conference, our high-school event is completely bilingual, with all the above activities offered in both French and English. In all, it provides an opportunity for our future researchers to become acquainted with a peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary, academic conference.

In order to attend the conference, a parent or guardian of each child must fill out a consent form which can be found here. This form must be signed and given back to the supervising teacher.

The supervising teach must also fill out a form, which can be found here.
